Who we are
GoldQuant ("GoldQuant", "we", "us") provides algorithmic trading software and an operator training programme. This policy explains what personal data we collect through goldquant.io, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over it. The data controller is Quantum AI Technologies Inc., 1275 Av. des Canadiens-de-Montréal, L'Avenue, Montréal, Québec H3B 0G4, Canada. You can reach us about anything in this policy at privacy@goldquant.io.
What we collect
When you submit an application on this site, we collect the first name, last name, email address and phone number you enter, the country you select, your answers to the five qualification questions, and any optional notes you add. We also record the time you submitted and an internally generated qualification indication derived from your answers.
When you book a call, our scheduling provider collects your chosen appointment time and the contact details carried over from your application.
Independently of anything you type, our servers record your IP address and browser user-agent string when you load a page, and our advertising tools record a pseudonymous identifier stored in cookies.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use the Meta Pixel, which sets the _fbp and _fbc cookies in your browser. These are advertising cookies used to measure the performance of our advertising and to show you relevant ads. They are not strictly necessary for the site to work.
We also use your browser's local and session storage to hold your part-completed application so you can return to it, to prevent the same conversion being counted twice, and to re-send an application if a network error prevented it going through the first time. This storage stays on your device. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Where consent is required in your region, we do not activate advertising cookies until you accept them. You can decline, and the site will work normally.
How we use your data
We use your application details to assess whether the programme is appropriate for you, to contact you about your application, and to schedule and conduct a call if you qualify. We use advertising and analytics data to measure which advertising works and to improve the site.
Automated processing and human review. Your answers to the qualification questions generate an internal qualification indication automatically. However, no final decision about your application is made by automated means alone: a member of our team reviews every application before any outcome is communicated to you. If you have questions about how an outcome was reached, contact us at privacy@goldquant.io.
Follow-up communications. If you apply or book a call, we may send you follow-up emails, SMS or WhatsApp messages, and call you, about your application, the programme, and closely related offerings. You can opt out of these communications at any time — via the unsubscribe link in any email, by replying STOP to any message, or by telling us on a call — and we will stop promptly. Sales calls may be recorded for training and record-keeping; you will be told at the start of any recorded call.
Lawful bases. Where UK or EU data protection law applies, our lawful bases are: your consent, for advertising cookies and for joining a waitlist; steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract, for processing your application, booking a call, and application-related communications; and our legitimate interest in operating, promoting and improving our business, for security logging, aggregate measurement, and follow-up communications about the programme you applied to — always subject to your right to opt out.
Who we share it with
We share personal data with the following categories of processor, only as needed to run the service:
Our CRM and scheduling provider (HighLevel / LeadConnector) receives your application details, booking information, and communication history so we can contact and schedule you.
Meta Platforms receives advertising measurement data. This includes a browser-side event and a matching server-side event. Where we send server-side events, your email address, phone number, first name, last name and country are irreversibly hashed before transmission — we do not send Meta these details in readable form. Your IP address and browser user-agent are transmitted unhashed, as Meta's measurement system requires, and are used by Meta to match the event to an account.
Our hosting provider processes page requests and stores server logs. Vimeo serves the video on our homepage and may set its own cookies when the video is played. Google Fonts serves typefaces used on the site.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing.
International transfers
Our providers operate internationally, so your data may be processed outside your country of residence, including in the United States. Where data protection law requires it, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or, for transfers out of the UAE, the mechanisms provided for under UAE data protection law.
How long we keep it
We keep application and booking records for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, and no longer than 24 months after your last interaction with us — except records we are required to keep longer for legal, tax and accounting purposes, which we keep for up to 6 years. Advertising cookie data is retained according to Meta's own retention schedule.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that already happened. To exercise any of these, contact privacy@goldquant.io. We will respond within the time limit set by the applicable law.
If you are in the United Kingdom, you may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. If you are in the EEA, you may complain to your local supervisory authority. If you are in the United Arab Emirates, you have comparable rights under Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, and may direct complaints to the UAE Data Office.
Children
This site and the programme are not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy. The "last updated" date at the top will always show when it last changed. If a change materially affects how we use data you have already given us, we will notify you by email where we can.
